March 23rd, 24th & 25th. Preston, Manchester and Weston Super Mare had the company of Stayin Alive over the weekend. All three venues were new ground for the trio and the first stop was Preston to a sold out club. In fact, ALL THREE venues were sell outs, and these days, that's good! Two forty five minutes were performed for the audience at Preston which went down a storm, and with a ''see you next year'' from the concert chairman, that can't be bad. The next two shows were cut to one hour as the trio shared the stage with the fantastic smooth sounds of 'Brothers of Soul' on Saturday as part of a Saturday Night Fever/Motown evening. If you havn't seen these guys yet, do yourself a favour and go see, you will not be disappointed! Next day it was off to Weston-super-Mare to share the stage at a holiday resort with Gary Setterfield as Elton John. Gary has also appeared on Stars in the Eyes as well as performing all over the world. A must see for Elton fans. Thanks to all the staff at all three venues for their hospitality.

March 12th to 16th and March17th Two gigs in a row for Stayin Alive, the first in the Caribbean and the second in Warrington. The distance between venues seems to be getting longer! The trio performed onboard P & O's Azura, doing two shows on their own and a 'end of cruise' show with Fogwell Flax as Sting. Both performances were filled to capacity. This is a bit of a new venture for 'Foggy' and he's got it off to perfection. He joined Stayin Alive on stage towards the end of 'You Should Be Dancing' slotting in the word 'Roxane' and the line 'You don't have to put on your red shoes' perfectly inbetween the line 'You should be dancing...yeah'. If you get the chance, go and watch him, any Police fan would be well impressed.Once back in the UK the trio headed to Warrington to a new venue for them.Once again a full capacity crowd welcomed them. A great night was had by all as they performed two forty-five minute sets. Thanks to everyone for their help and hopitality both on land and at sea.

The venue was filled to capacity. They performed two forty-five minute sets and both went down a storm. The next day it was a short trip to Hereford to a holiday venue. Again the venue was filled to the brim, some of the holidaymakers had booked especially to see Stayin Alive. We're flattered by that ! Jan 27th & 28th A return for the trio to South Wales, a year since the last visit, and yet another great audience. Stayin Alive performed two forty-five minutes and both halves went down a storm. After a night in Wales they set off via Morrisons for brekkie of course, to Fareham. This was a new venue which is bucking the trend for clubs and is doing very well.Once again two forty five minute sets was the order of the day and so it was delivered.A great audience sang along to many of the first set, despite the songs being mainly 60's & 70's ballads, they all seem to know them all. Bee Gee fans I'm sure ! After a short interval Stayin Alive returned to the stage and the dance floor disappeared. It was non-stop dancing all the way. Thanks to all the staff at both venues for their kind hospitality.

Dancing on Ice, ITV 1. Some of you skating fans may have thought you caught a glimpse of Stayin Alive UK......Well you were right. Alan, Bill and Jim were asked to be part of the recording for Matthew Wolfenden (Emmerdale) and Nina Ulanova pre-skate video. The shoot took place in Bradford and went on for approx two hours. If your wondering what they were singing, it was Stayin Alive. Matthew starred in the stage production of Saturday Night Fever, and as you could see, he hadn't forgotten any of the moves.Nina, coming from Russia, missed the hype of the Bee Gees and Saturday Night Fever so this was all new to her, but she and Matthew had it nailed! Well done and good luck with the rest of the series.
